Passive Lightning Strike Counter

The LEC-AT lightning counter has a preset alarm function for the cumulative number of lightning strikes. The user can set the cumulative number of thresholds according to the local thunderstorm situation. When the number of lightning strikes is reached, the device will give an alarm. This function can be used with protection devices such as surge protectors. Use it to help customers replace the surge protector in time and avoid the risks and losses caused by the failure of the surge protector. 

LEC-AT is equipped with an address code and can be connected to the network through the RS485 communication interface, and the system information can be transmitted to the information platform or the cloud in real time. Customers can remotely have the system and surge protection information anytime and anywhere, and make timely decisions. 

Also through the address code of the device to achieve accurate positioning of the system, help maintenance personnel to lock the failure area or components in time, and effectively improve maintenance efficiency.

LEC-D adopts unique motor conversion technology, which does not require internal and external power drive when working. It has a large counting range and is maintenance-free during use. Waterproof package and high-quality stainless steel shell or plastic housing, suitable for outdoor or indoor lightning protection system down-conductor or other lightning current discharge channel installation, can monitor and record the frequency of direct lightning strikes or surges caused by other reasons in the lightning protection system.
